- Baby kits: Many poor mothers living in the Klong Toey slum cannot afford to buy even nappies and feeding bottles for their newborns. Sister Joan Evans helps make their struggle a little easier by providing them with baby kits containing feeding bottles, nappies, powder, lotion, a small mattress and pillow, towels and a mosquito net. She also provides other help to the slum dwellers including milk formula and health care support.
